In April, 2008, Rosalie Ramos started operating Master J Food Products. Her main offering was bottled vegetables mainly “laing”. The company sits in a 2,000-square meter lot in Barangay Lumil, Silang, Cavite. On 350 square meters, the facility for food manufacturing was built. Her “laing” was well received, prodding her to open a fast food restaurant named “Federico’s Favorites”. Their target market includes families, children and adults, and their menu became everyone’s favorite.
When Federico’s opened, its ambience was modern Filipino and inspirational classical music. Under this atmosphere, Federico’s served “quick service meals” which were affordable, authentic, regional, and comfort food. Menu includes: Laing paired with grilled meat and fish, sizzling bicol express and kandingga, and desserts.The first branch was located at the Laguna Technopark in Binan, Laguna.It operates Mondays to Saturdays, and it serves a full menu of combo meals, group meals in boodle fight style, desserts, refreshing drinks, and a delivery service for Laguna Technopark locators.
Under the stewardship of Rosalie Ramos, a CPA by profession, and husband John Frederic Ramos, a human resource management expert, “Federico’s Favorites”two advantages are: Rosalie’s passion for food and customer service including John’s heart to serve their employees especially their customers. They retained their competitive edge because staff members are well-selected, and they share the company’s values of honesty, dedication, and family centeredness.
