PARAS ALTER STATION : A SEAMLESS FRANCHISE OPPORTUNITY

Posted on: January 21st, 2016 by Francorp No Comments

Franchise Consultant Philippines | Franchise Success Stories | Franchise Business Opportunity

In August of 2008, Mr. Ed Paras opened his first RTW and clothes repair shop in Cherry Foodarama Supermarket in Congressional Avenue, Quezon City. Hitting two birds with one stone, he was able to cater to buyers of export/import overruns who immediately wanted to customize their purchases. This begun a strategy that answered the twin needs of the consumer base around the areas near his Cherry Foodarama locations. In 2010, the PARAS ALTER STATION name was incorporated by the ELP Group. Since the positive word of mouth had already spread about his quality workmanship, the  value for money he offers ,and the quick and reliable customer service his staff delivers, there was no way to go but expand.

With a keen eye for spotting opportunities and exercising due diligence and research, this time, Mr. Paras opened outlets in Ever Gotesco, SM, Robinsons, and recently Ayala Malls, the so-called big locations. Now rooting for the upper A, B, C segments, he believed in effective marketing campaigns to create brand name recall especially in mall set-ups. Leafleting, strategic banner positioning, and billboards pushed consumer traffic to his store making his business take off to phenomenal heights.  With 40 stores in Luzon and growing, his sights are now directed to Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao.

His success formula is based on the superior workmanship of his more than a hundred staff who are the most qualified in the garments industry, having had at least 5 years experience in cutting and sewing export quality apparel. Stringent quality control is a must before clothes are released to the customer. The result is a happy and satisfied clientele who return for repeat business.

Paras Alter Station has also thrived in different locations owing to the constantly growing market for alteration and clothes repair amidst the resurging RTW industry.  Because of Mr. Paras’ decades of experience in the retail, wholesale, and manufacture of branded clothes, he is an expert in designer label patterns, cuts, sewing, and repair. He is also a compleat businessman with interests in food, construction, Bayad Center franchises, and agribusiness. He is now preparing his daughters to learn the trade by sending them to business school. His company has a low attrition rate because he treats his workers as family and gives their children extra financial support for their schooling, and weekly bible studies for their spiritual formation.

Through franchising, the Paras Alter Station is poised to conquer the Visayas and Mindanao. By opening more  outlets through franchisees who believe in this fitting opportunity, he makes sure that wherever there are ready to wear clothes shops around, there is a PARAS ALTER STATION nearby to fill every client’s custom fitting needs.

Nothing beats a good, juicy, big burger to satisfy one’s hunger pangs.

Unknown to many, the original home of Quezon Province’s best tasting burgers is from a mobile van in Lucena City set up by Mr. Francis Dy in November, 1984 along Quezon Avenue corner Rizal St. This was where the first LC BIG MAK burger was sold. For over 30 years now, LC BIG MAK INC. has mastered the art and science of burger making, serving millions of burgers since 1984.

Borne out of the creative minds of business couple, Francis and Edna Dy, LC Big Mak has come a long way since the time they only had one grinder and used margarine caps as pattern for making patties.  Patience, hard work, and faith in God have grown LC BIG MAK INC. to its present strength of more than 850 burger vans and 12 branches grilling nationwide.

The name LC BIG MAK INC. has a lot of history to it. LC is Lucena City where it all started. Big buns and big patties is the BIG in the brand name. MAK came from the initials of Mr. Dy’s parents, Maxima and Kimsuy. Armed with their vision to be the top-of-mind in the burger kiosk business in the country and in the world, LC BIG MAK INC. is finally opening its doors to franchising. The formats offered are burger vans or counter-type studios.

As the market for fast food services increases, the demand for comfort foods such as burgers, packed in big buns and patties, sold at a very reasonable price, also increases. This window of opportunity gives the LC BIG MAK franchisee bigger room for sales and cost-effective ways to reach the highest growth potential.  With big burgers being the core product, the business system is made simple and easy to operate. Though the franchise package is cost-friendly and affordable, system compliance is a must.

The taste and quality of the products will never be compromised even with the fast and convenient service delivered to customers. Now that it is open for franchising, standards will be met with the help of a professionally-made franchise system, marketing plan, and training.

Customers are considered the most important corporate assets. Franchise partners will be assured of all-out support. Years of the proven expertise of the Dys in the field of business, whether it be in food, manufacturing, hotel management, manpower, trucking, and trading will surely bring to the franchise partnership a fun, exciting, and rewarding business atmosphere. So next time you like your burgers fresh, big, made to order, go to LC Big Mak or better yet, get an LC Big Mak franchise. Here’s to the burger franchise TO THE MAK!

EXOTIC FLAVOURS FOR THE ADVENTUROUS

Posted on: January 9th, 2016 by Francorp No Comments

Chicken trimmed of fat, marinated for 24 hours, and cooked with state of the art combi-oven technologies that lock in the goodness of the taste while cooking? What if its flame grilled, brushed with some special spices and sauces that gently caramelize the meat, producing that smoky flavor, mouth watering aroma, and served flaming hot? What if its Portuguese style chicken meeting  African Peri Peri sauces , uniquely dished up for Filipino taste buds? Conjure those relishing images no more because they are now reality. The Quality Restaurant Group Limited from New Zealand, with over 24 years of full-service restaurant experience, brings to the Philippines their latest brand created for the Asian market – Eduardo’s Peri Peri!

Eduardo’s Peri Peri is a fast-service restaurant that comes like its full service, serving delish food packed with unique flavors, yet do not cost too much as to hurt one’s pocket. From the brainchild of owner Ed Viterbo, a Filipino based in New Zealand who has built a growing full service restaurant group in Auckland City, Eduardo’s Peri Peri was brought to the Philippines to allow Filipinos to savor a mouth-watering Portuguese-style flame grilled chicken. His company’s partner is one of the country’s largest agricultural conglomerates, the Calata Group, whose products include high quality chicken meat.

The secret of the recipe lies in the Peri Peri sauces which the company developed through their own boutique factory in Auckland, where sauces are manufactured with stringent standards and consistency is maintained in every batch. “Peri-Peri” is pepper-pepper” in Africa, but it refers to a very small chili pepper species popular in Portugal for its bold flavour. At Eduardo’s Peri Peri, the menu is quite extensive. Aside from its signature chicken, also offers burgers, pita sandwich, kumara, shoe string fries, and yogurt smoothies. The company even partnered with the leading yoghurt manufacturer in New Zealand, Easy Yo, as a source of its own range of fresh yoghurt, frozen yoghurt, smoothies, and yoghurt shakes.

The interior of the restaurant gives a South American feel. While a fast casual restaurant with service that is quick, friendly, and efficient, it elicits a full service restaurant experience. The wooden furnishings combined with earthy walls and trimmings gives a warm and cozy feeling. The layout of the restaurant gives customers a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Its tables are set up in such a way that cutleries, condiments, and sauces are easily accessible. Its exterior has a minimalist and clean look to emphasize quality, modernity, and cozy ambiance. Its message is clear: eat good food, chat, enjoy, and share your experience—this is what Eduardo’s Peri Peri is all about.

Backed by its philosophy to establish a trusted world class brand, Eduardo’s Peri-Peri is now opening its doors to franchising.

Regardless of gender, age, weight, and level of flexibility, yoga as a fitness activity is for anyone. This is being espoused by the founders of Yoga + Express – 5 friends who aim to promote yoga as people’s first step in the journey to achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit. Under the guidance of certified instructors who will focus on students’ individual needs, Yoga + participants can discover more about themselves and push past their limitations.

There are now 4 branches of Yoga + Express offering 4 kinds of yoga – Hot, Flow, Warrior, and Yin. Hot Hour is perfect for beginners and focuses on lower body strength, balance and flexibility. The style enhances detoxification through sweating. FLOW movements are accompanied by breathing – one movement is one breath. WARRIOR is a Vinyasa Flow class designed to help beginners gain a deeper understanding of the postures, how to set-up and align the body, what modifications to take if there is any physical limitations. YIN is a contemplative, meditative practice designed to increase flexibility and openness in the body by working on the tendons, ligaments, cartilage and fascia. It is the perfect complement to sports, gym and even other yoga styles that are physically-demanding.

Dina Salonga, managing director, says “Yoga+ was conceived and created out of our longing to share not only this love of yoga with others but also the many benefits that the practice has brought to our lives as well. Our vision is to make yoga available to EVERY body. EVERYBODY. We envision a world where everyone has a chance to practice yoga in its various styles.” “The instructors, all certified, have taken it upon themselves to share in the mission to make each of their students happy, healthy, and forever young, through yoga. The teachers focus on individual needs. Ultimately, the end in view is to help students discover that yoga practice is not just about doing the yoga postures properly but also about applying the lessons learned in the yoga room to the real world.”  April of 2015, Yoga + Express started offering “Change from Within”, a mindfulness-based program for developing emotional intelligence. It helps improve relationships, manage emotions, increase self-awareness, improve careers, and contribute to overall feeling of happiness and contentment. This is essentially taking yoga off the mat! To get more people to join these life enhancing exercises, Yoga + Express is opening its doors to franchising. Inquiries are entertained at dina@yogaplus.ph. or at 847-0697 and 238-2768.

For the Love of Numbers with ALOHA!

Posted on: January 2nd, 2016 by Francorp No Comments

Franchise Consultant Philippines | Franchise Success Stories | How to Create a Franchise Business | How to Franchise in the Philippines

For many children and even some adults, the study of numbersconjures up images of boring lectures, frustrating assignments, and difficult equations, feelings of great anxiety and panic. But one companyhas managed to change that perception – ALOHA International.

ALOHA, which stands for Abacus Learning Of Higher Arithmetic, was founded by Mr. LohMun Sung in 1993. He developed the concept based on the abacus computational methods from China and Taiwan, and then designed it into a comprehensive curriculum for the purpose of introducing it to the children of Malaysia with the primary objective to “provide a quality, skill-based Mental Arithmetic program incorporating the most advanced and innovative trends in education to offer a valuable service to the community by contributing to the development of children-the future citizens-while maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.” These served as the main principles which have guided the company through its two decades of unprecedented, phenomenal growth. Starting from the first mental arithmetic class in Ipoh, Malaysia in April 1993, ALOHA has grown to over 4,000 centers across 28 countries all over the world, with an estimated enrollment of over 2 million children globally.

From the numbers alone, it is clear that ALOHA has managed to develop a way to make learning math as something both effortless and fun, through their proven and tested method of Mental Arithmetic.  According to ALOHA, Mental Arithmetic is “a form of training which will enhance a child’s ability to do calculation without the aid of any instruments such as a calculator”.A child will be able to calculate very quickly and correctly using mental power, no matter how high the numbers. The abacus is first used as the key element in teaching mental arithmetic, to teach children basic concepts of mind math and improve both sides of the brain. Children start to do math operations with the abacus and gradually visualize the abacus in their brain doing math operations mentally. With practice and achieving different levels in the program, the child is able to perform math operations with speed and accuracy – without the abacus, or calculator, or pencil and paper. Such process stimulates memory, imagination, concentration, and abstraction.Children trained in the ALOHA method have demonstrated positive results in their other academic subjects, making an ALOHA kid well-rounded and academically strong.

In response to the demand, Aloha International embarked on a systematic development program designed to bring ALOHA to the world via franchising. Nineteen years after its initial launch in the Philippines, ALOHA International has built up a stronger and more focused brand aimed at bringing the ALOHA Mental Arithmetic advantage to every kid in the Philippines! The business model is proven and the name has a good reputation.

Add fun in your life, subtract a frown, multiply your knowledge, and divide and share the love of math with an ALOHA Mental Arithmetic franchise.
